About me
I started in credit control, chasing aged debt and reporting on it to managers, directors and clients. At one firm I cut a £250,000 aged-debt ledger to £11,000 in six months. In 2023 I joined a law firm's debt recovery team, setting up debtor accounts and running case files.
That's where the reporting started. Since July 2023 I've produced a UK law firm's monthly and quarterly debt recovery reporting, and I haven't missed a deadline.
So I know what the figures mean as well as how to build them: what a month's balance movement is telling you, why cases sit waiting for instructions, and what your client will ask about first. You deal with one person, on a fixed monthly fee, and your pack arrives on the same day every month.

Fixed monthly fees, so the cost does not creep up with the hours. The first consultation is free; after that, each retainer is scoped around how often you need reporting, how many data sources are involved, and how much written commentary you want.

Security and compliance
Client data is handled through encrypted Microsoft 365 Business with MFA, full-disk encryption, TLS-secure communications, and UK data centre storage. Midlands Legal BI is ICO registered and holds professional indemnity and cyber insurance.
